Private Visit to Ranua Wildlife Park

Available 14.8.2026 – 30.04.2027

Ranua Wildlife Park invites families to step into the world of northern animals, where every season reveals something different. Along the forest trail, your private guide brings the visit to life with stories of Arctic survival: what hides behind a pile of snow, how thick fur protects from the cold, why some animals sleep through winter, and how others stay alert in the quiet northern landscape.

The park is home to around 50 northern and Arctic animal species, including Finland’s only polar bear, lynx, Arctic foxes, owls, musk oxen, wolves, wolverines, otters, brown bear, moose, and reindeer.

The visit is guided with respect for the animals and their own rhythm. The spacious forest enclosures offer shelter, room to move, and places to withdraw. Sometimes an animal may be resting, eating, hiding, or watching quietly from a distance, and this patience is part of discovering wildlife in a respectful way.

During the visit, guests can enjoy a light refreshment at the location. If time allows, there is also a possibility to visit the local Fazer candy shop and small boutiques before returning to the hotel.
