Road to Aurora
Available 17.08.-31.8.2026
Daily at 22:00
Road to Aurora is for guests who enjoy the search as much as the sighting. Your guide follows the evening’s weather forecast and cloud conditions, choosing the direction that seems most promising for observing the northern lights.
Depending on the weather, the route may take you up to one hour away from the hotel, with stops at a few different viewing locations. On some evenings, it may be enough to drive around 30 minutes from the starting point. If the sky rewards the group with northern lights, you can stay in that location and enjoy the moment.
During the experience, you will enjoy a warm drink and snack while your guide shares both the science and mythology of the aurora. The selected locations are outdoors and open to the public, so there may be other people in the area.
This programme is ideal for guests who want a more active northern lights evening, where the road, the changing sky, and the anticipation are all part of the experience.
