Step into the serene silence of Lapland’s winter forest with traditional back country skis, also known as skishoes. These short, wide skis combine the ease of snowshoeing with the smooth glide of skiing, making them ideal even for first timers. No previous skiing experience is needed —only a curiosity to move through snow at your own pace. With each gentle slide, you venture deeper into untouched Arctic landscapes, where the only sound is the soft crunch of snow beneath you.
Your journey begins at Arctic TreeHouse Hotel, from where a short transfer takes you to our private forest location. There, surrounded by pure snow and quiet serenity, you will learn the simple techniques of wilderness skiing and discover a peaceful way to connect with Arctic nature. This small-group adventure (maximum 8 participants) is reserved exclusively for our hotel guests, ensuring privacy, intimacy, and a truly personal experience.
